New Haircut

So here's a picture front and back of my new haircut. At first I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it's easy and convenient.

BYU Folk Dancers

We had such a good time with the BYU Folk Dancers. They were such a great example to the YA here in Hungary. - So positive, friendly, commited to the Gospel. Afterwards we served about 130 pulled-pork sandwiches. It was such a fun day. I'm so glad I was here when they came.

This is the famous whip guy. Many missionaries come here to buy whips. If they aren't assigned to area near here, then they ask someone to buy a whip for them. While we were there he did a demonstration about how to use it. We bought one for one of the missionaries, but somehow we mysteriously ended up with two whips, even though Sister Bagozzi told Elder Bagozzi that he definitely didn't need one. - Very strange how things happen here!!!!

We saw several of these huge nests. I'm not sure what kind of bird was sitting in it but definitely a large one - :)

This looked like some kind of a chili cook off. There was someone going around talking to each guy who was cooking. Then he would sample their food.

Debrecen

On our way to dinner we saw people congratulating the Bride and Groom after a wedding. It was outside a really cool church. Later while we were eating dinner, we saw a Bride ( don't know if it was the same one) walking down the street with her Bridesmaids. She still had her veil on but she was wearing jeans. All of them were wearing ears - we don't know what that was all about. But it looked like people were giving her money as she walked down the street.

Debrecen

Haven't added anything to my blog in a very long time. My blog was in Hungarian and I couldn't figure out how to post anything. We had a fun trip to Debrecen. The Hartwells are there. We ate dinner on Saturday night outside along the main street. So fun to watch all the people while we enjoyed our dinner.
